Soto Ayam Ambengan Yummy

Soto Ayam Ambengan is one of the typical food of Surabaya city.

Unlike Soto Ayam from other areas in Indonesia, Surabaya typical food of this yellow color is more concentrated broth by using turmeric in the making.

Soto Ayam Ambengan name is derived from the depot Soto Ayam Pak Sadi Ambengan located in Jalan Surabaya. Chicken Soto Pak Sadi Depot has been standing since 1970 and is famous for its distinctive flavor sotonya Koya. Because of his famous chicken soup delicacy, the general public mention all the typical chicken soup as a Soto Ayam Ambengan Surabaya.

Soto Ayam Ambengan consists of chicken meat (meat, jerohan, skin, brutu), eggs, white rice, vermicelli, chopped cabbage and chicken broth. Usually this food lovers and then mix the food with Koya (powder made from grated coconut, shrimp crackers collision, and garlic), crackers, chili, and lime.
